Very informative

A very easy to read, short guide that summarizes this field of engineering. My only wish is that the book would include more articles from Biomedical Engineers and articles written about Biomedical Engineering to give a more thorough description of the daily routine and actual projects assigned to engineers. It would also be helpful to know what specific job opportunities are available for Biomedical Engineers with Bachelor degrees versus Graduate degrees.

Alan Thorn is a multidisciplinary game developer, author, and educator with industry experience of 17 years. He makes games for PC desktop, mobile, and VR. He has written twenty-three technical books on game development and presented 19 video training courses. These cover game-play programming, Unity development, 3D modeling, and animation. He has worked in games education as a senior lecturer for Teesside University, a lead teacher for Uppingham School, and a visiting lecturer for the London South Bank University. He is currently the head of department for Games Design and Development at the National Film and Television School.

There are very few people on earth who could have written this book. It addresses all key aspects of biometric technology and its deployment.
In particular, it includes many references to real world initiatives and presents perspectives on the emerging shape of the biometric industry that only seasoned professionals could provide.
It addresses what has been a very complex and fragmented industry in a very readable and satisfying way and will be of immense benefit to anyone associated with biometric deployment in the public or private sectors.
A "must have" for anyone interested in biometrics.

Carlos Coronel is currently the Lab Director for the College of Business Computer Labs at Middle Tennessee State University. He has more than 29 years of experience in various fields as a Database Administrator, Network Administrator, Web Manager, and Technology Specialist. He has taught courses in Web development, database design and development, and data communications at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Steven Morris completed his Bachelor of Science and Ph.D. from Auburn University. He has taught courses in Database Design and Development, Database Programming with Advanced SQL and PL/SQL, Systems Analysis and Design, and Database Management at the graduate and undergraduate levels at Middle Tennessee State University. Dangerous ideas that will change your view of discipleship

"Cultivating..." is a game-changer in the vast world of "materials" marketed for discipleship. If you wish to move from 'average' to 'normal' in your Christian walk, these ideas will give you the waypoints to begin the journey of engaging in 'Life Transformation Groups'. The refreshing insights for me were the 3 "simple, not easy" components of LTG's: abundance of time in Word, deep and transparent accountability, prayer for those we wish to join us in the journey.

A small book with a big idea

My life verse is Romans 12:2: Do NOT conform to the pattern of this work but instead be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Christian churches conform to the pattern of addition when Jesus intends us to multiply.

This book is simple but profound.
This book is small yet contains a big idea.
This book is convicting yet helpful.

My secular interpretation of my life verse is "Success is not logical". Logical is doing what everyone else does. Yet when you look at the crowd you are being encouraged to follow and copy, you more often than not discover they are not successful. This book leads to success because it's not logical. The Christian crowd is focused on evangelism and not discipleship.
