While the U.K has James Herriot and Ireland has Gillian Hick, the U.S. now has Clyde Brooks, veterinarian and autobiographical story teller. Vettin' in Appalachia is an easy read despite several instances of medical detail. Throughout the stories that non-judgementally introduce some Mayberry type characters, a tear came to my eye but more frequently a chuckle or smile was invoked. As the author describes his day to day experiences and opens the doors to behind the scene veterinarian medicine, where humans mat be as problematic as the animals, I thought this should be on the reading list for anyone contemplating entering the field, as well as those of us who are intrigued by animals and their owners. Hoping this will not be the last we hear of the escapades of a vet in North Carolina.

This is a wonderfully informative book full of antidotes, love, laughter and several laugh out loud moments. It is an honest account of a veterinarian practice with all its ups and downs, joys and sorrow. It had tears flowing down my face at one dogs demise.
Dr Brooks has a charming way of narration which keeps the reader engaged and wanting to read more. You will enjoy this book and I recommend it for purchase. The cover of the new book is intriguing. I enjoyed reading this book.

Pat does a great job giving some history of Feng Shui and provides helpful information to help you begin to apply Feng Shui in your life - particularly understanding your personality type and the personality type of your home/building. She also includes success stories that are helpful in beginning to understand changes you can make in your environment to apply Feng Shui in your life. Great book Pat!

Disappointed

I purchased this book for class, when I got it, it was a volume 2 which was not stated in the description. I have been trying to contact the seller to return it. So, I had to go out and purchase the correct book for the class. I am still stuck with this book. Not the best experience and will not purchase anything from this buyer.

How to start living like a millionaire.

Live Like A Millionaire is short but contained amazing point of views. It is straight to the point, easy-to-read, easy-to-understand and motivating. The pointers were simple but gave a great impact, these are the things that some of us probably overlook because we are so used to doing what we are doing when it comes to money or fear that we might lose a lot if we let it roll. This book would prove that there are money habits that we have which are not really giving us any good benefits and that we can do something about it, and that would lead us to becoming financially successful. Who does not want to be a millionaire? Everyone should read this book. Awesome read!

Great read and very insightful

This book helped me to get into the mind frame of what it's like to actually be a millionaire. I feel like I can now visualize the steps I need to take and attitude I need to become one myself. I'm not saying it's going to be overnight, but this book definitely sets you up with ways you can start taking easy steps in the right direction to becoming rich!

This book has been mis-titled, a far more suitable title would have been "How to have a millionaire mindset.". As a result there is precious little "how too" and quite a bit of "this how a millionaire would look at it"

With a proper title it would have been 4 stars.
